Dirk & Pororo the Little Penguin

Since Dirk was 6 months old, he is a fan of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Show and until now that he is a toddler; still his love for Mickey Mouse never fades. 1 week ago, Dirk was able to see a new cartoon show; I was just amazed because Dirk really had a loud laugh while watching that show. Suddenly, the show ended and Dirk started to cry, what I did, I immediately turned his attention to other things just to let him stop crying. I myself was not familiar of what Dirk had watched, good thing my sister was watching over Dirk and told me that the show was PORORO. I immediately downloaded videos of PORORO (using the Videoder Android App). Our little boy was so happy to see his new found PORORO show on his tablet. It’s been a week now and Dirk is really enjoying PORORO, I have observed that he enjoys the singing and the dancing episodes of the characters plus the show is really educational. I was able to download the English version because PORORO is a Korean kiddy show. So here ar...

My 2014 Goals as a Mom

We always want the best for our kids, right? This 2014 here are my goals as a mom and I am really praying that I can able to achieve all of these. In 2014, I am planning to avail a Medical Insurance for my little kid, I was able to identify already the medical insurance company (MaxiCare) and my target for is by 1st quarter of the year 2014. I find it more practical if I avail Medical Insurance, is badly needed especially if you have a baby. Medical check-up is very costly and most especially when our kids got sick. Hospital rooms plus medicines are getting very expensive these days. My 2nd goal is to increase my savings for at least 20%, currently I am able to allocate my budget and hopefully I can save more not only for myself but most importantly for the future of my son. Honestly, I was really having a hard time saving this 2013 because of unexpected payments like last June when my son got admitted to the hospital for a week. I am very much positive that I can save more th...

I am really fond of scrapbooking. I admit I am not that artistic but I always try my best to make my scrapbook look good. I love to cut-out cute pictures that will fit the theme of my scrapbook but sometimes,I also buy some scrapbooking materials. Aside from the materials that I used, I also love to put baby quotes on my scrapbook. Recently, I was able to make one for my little man.  ♥♥♥ I want to share to you some of the quotes I used for my little man’s scrapbook. I just printed these quotes in nice special paper. Do hope you enjoy these quotes and happy scrapbooking! *** " Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart. "  " From small beginnings come great things. " " When you're drawing up your first list of life's miracles, you might place near the top the first moment your baby smiles at you. " " Babies are such a nice way to start people. " " My precious little baby, I have lo...

Early Christmas Gift for My Kiddo

Few more days to go and it’s Christmas! All malls are having huge sales and discounts and because if this, my being an impulsive buyer has been activated. ☺ While strolling in the mall with my mom and Dirk, I really cannot control myself to always check the Kids Section. I was really looking for a pair of sandals to replace his Nike Rubber Sandals; I check different brands and finally decide to buy these 2 cute shoes and sandals. Not only I love the appearance but most of all; I trust the quality of these shoes. Since Dirk really loves to run, I opt for this sandal that really fits him. I also had close shoes for him for his formal get-up.  Dirk has been a good boy this year and he deserve these gifts ♥ I just love my son sooo much ♥

Oh Hello December!

Streets are filled with Christmas decors and lights, neighbors are starting to play Christmas carols and we are just so excited for Christmas! Time flies so fast and once again it’s December. It’s the 2 nd year that Dirk will celebrate Christmas. As to welcome December, I bought Dirk his Little Red Parol. Parol is a Star shape Christmas Lantern that is very famous in our country. Our little man was so delighted with his little Parol ☺ Since it is already December, we are starting our count down for our Dirk’s Bigday! 3 months more to go and this kid will turn 2.
